Carol M. Rey
Founder/Owner of The Elite School of Etiquette, was born in Chicago, but was raised in Atlanta, Georgia. She is a mother, entrepreneur, and a retired educator with 23 years of teaching experience, a certified etiquette instructor recognized by the Society of Certified Etiquette Trainers Board and certified through the Prestigious The American School of Protocol. And a former member of The National Association of Urban Etiquette Professionals. She is also a published writer. Carol has a Bachelors and Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership.
Some of her involvements include membership with the Atlanta Falcon Cheerleaders and NFL Alumni Assn., Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., Top Ladies of Distinction Inc., Nomination for Ms. Mompreneur 2018,Co- Founder of “Pretty & Poised “an etiquette and makeup workshop for girls 12-21, The official Etiquette consultant for the Miss Black US Ambassadors National Scholarship Pageant and many others. Carol can be seen all over the Atlanta area and abroad conducting etiquette, dining classes and hosting tea parties and as a guest speaker. Carol is also spearheading a Jr. Cotillion program in Atlanta for students 6th-8th Grade. This program is for student in the middle school years who are in a very sensitive stage where peer pressure is very important and they are also in an awkward stage in their growth and maturity. We work with them helping them to build their self-confidence, meet new friends and learn that manners are cool. The Elite School of Etiquette also serves as the etiquette consultant for many other Cotillion programs throughout the metro Atlanta area.
Carol wants to be a change agent. She wants everyone to know and learn that etiquette is not about you, but how you make others feel being around you. “Great manners and dining skills can take you places friends and family can’t”.
